A woman who cares for other children while also feeding her own child is referred to as a SUPER MOM. Donated breast milk is an incredibly important part of post-natal care in the modern world. Access to donor milk allows babies who cannot breastfeed to get all the nutrients and unique benefits of human milk, helping to support their immune systems, their growth and development, and their overall health and wellbeing.

IAM, presented by Pephands Foundation was an open forum for students from all backgrounds to present their project ideas. IAM was conducted in 3 stages. With over 1400+ projects from more than 900 institutions, the top 100 projects were selected as a first phase. The top 100 projects were reviewed via live online presentation. From there the top 50 project ideas were filtered. On November 18, 2023.

At Pephands Foundation, we believe in creating inclusive experiences for everyone. Recently, we had the privilege of hosting a heartwarming event, "Cinema For All," specially organized for handicapped individuals and their families. This event aimed to bring the joy of cinema to those who often miss out on such experiences due to mobility challenges.

- Movie Screening: Families enjoyed a specially curated movie that was both entertaining and accessible.
- Venue: The event took place at the Perubakkam Housing Board, transformed into a cozy theatre for the evening.

Remembering this, Pephands has gifted a great happy experience for palliative care patients in
Chennai.
Last month, something extraordinary happened at Quaide Milleth College for Men in
Medavakkam. On May 29, 2024, our community gathered for a very special one-day event
called "Nesathai Nadu", hosted by Pephands Pain & Palliative Care Program. Designed with love
and care, this event was dedicated to enriching the lives of palliative care people—the
impaired, elderly, and stroke survivors—and their families. Today, Pephands is thrilled to share
the heartwarming moments and touching experiences from this day.
Day of Preparation and Personalization
Our team’s preparation began two days before the event, transforming the venue into a haven
of comfort and joy. With handmade crafts and uplifting palliative care-themed decorations,
every corner of the place was touched with hope and warmth. One of the most touching
additions was the "Dream Tree", where participants could hang their wishes, making the event
not just a day out, but a personal journey for each attendee.
Health and Happiness Under One Roof
The day kicked off with free health check-ups, including sugar and blood level monitoring,
ensuring that our attendees not only had fun but also took a step forward in their health
journey. The peace of mind that comes with knowing one is in good health can truly uplift
spirits, and that's precisely what we aimed for.
As smiles spread, the air filled with the scents of natural snacks—healthy, delicious, and
different! Food has a way of bringing people together, and our assortment of treats did just
that, providing both nourishment and delight.
A Canvas of Joyful Expressions
But what’s a festivity without some entertainment? Our program was rich with dance
performances, music, and various art forms, turning the event into a vibrant canvas of joyful
expressions. Art and music are not just entertainment; they are therapy, offering respite and
rejuvenation, which our wonderful community experienced firsthand.
Games, Stories, and Shared Meals
The laughter of children playing puzzle mazes and musical chairs filled the air, while adults
engaged in games like blind man's Buff, bringing out child-like joy in everyone. As the afternoon
unfolded, we gathered for a communal meal—free biryani for all. Sharing a meal is sharing love,
and as we dined together, the sense of community deepened.
As the sun set, the event took a reflective turn. Participants shared their stories, accompanied
by their favorite vintage music. These personal stories, set against a backdrop of soothing
melodies, created a heartfelt atmosphere of understanding and empathy.
Special Moments of Recognition
Our event was graced by the presence of Mr. Junior MG Ramachandran, who added a special
touch by serving food to our attendees, enhancing the dignity and warmth of the occasion. We
also recognized two incredible volunteers, Mr. Sarvesh and Mr. Mohammed, who exemplified
how care and dedication could bring immense joy and peace to others.
Tokens of Hope
Before the day ended, we handed out coloring books and kits to our younger participants.
These weren’t just gifts; they were tokens of hope, tools to spark creativity, and a reminder of
the supportive, joyful community they belong to.
Looking Ahead
The "Nesathai Nadu" event was not just a day; it was a promise—a promise to continue
bringing joy, care, and hope to those who need it most. Each laugh, each story, and each dance

In the heart of Chennai, amidst the resounding cheers and the thrill of competition, the inaugural Open Turf Cricket Tournament, organized by Pephands Foundation, unfolded as a remarkable testament to sportsmanship, camaraderie, and purpose.
On February 25, 2024, the Tack Town Turf came alive with the rhythmic thud of leather on willow as teams from across the city gathered to showcase their cricketing prowess and, more importantly, to champion a noble cause - the Sporting Dreams Support Program.
Among the teams that took the field, the spirited "Strangers" and the determined "Hashtag 12" emerged as the defining forces of the tournament. Throughout the day, spectators were treated to a display of sheer talent, strategic brilliance, and unwavering determination as the teams battled fiercely for the coveted title.
As the sun climbed high in the sky, casting a golden glow over the turf, the final showdown between "Strangers" and "Hashtag 12" captivated the audience with its intensity and excitement. Both teams showcased exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and a relentless drive to emerge victorious.
In a thrilling climax to an unforgettable day, "Hashtag 12" emerged as the triumphant champions, their victory a testament to their unwavering commitment, teamwork, and passion for the game. Amidst jubilant celebrations and heartfelt applause, they lifted the winner's trophy, their faces radiant with pride and joy.

The event featured individuals who:
- Have been music maestros in front of washroom mirrors.
- Have silently vibed to their favorite songs in their bedrooms.
- Are good speakers in front of parents and friends.
- Are good imitators in classrooms for their favorite teachers.
These talents are often hidden within four walls, visible only to close friends. Many possess unique talents in various art forms but lack a platform that does not criticize, mock, or laugh at them if things go wrong.

In today's world, the notion is that only highly skilled people can win. **OPEN MIC** aims to change this thought by creating an entertainment platform where everyone gets an equal opportunity to showcase their talent in art forms such as singing, dancing, mimicry, and standup comedy, without any judgments or partiality. Here, all participants are winners, born with a talent to serve a purpose.

Pephands conducted the talent show to support Mr. Rajasekar, who is permanently affected by Myotonic Dystrophy and cannot move without help. His determination for his two kids inspired us to do something meaningful for his daily movement. Pephands connected with artists seeking a genuine stage while serving a meaningful change for others.

That's why we organized Art Utsav, a drawing competition designed specifically for school children, held on November 5th, 2023, at the prestigious Leo Academy School of Excellence, located in the heart of Anna Nagar, Chennai.
Art Utsav was a testament to the talent and imagination of the young minds of Chennai. Children from various schools across the city showcased their artistic flair in four different categories, each brimming with creativity and innovation. From imaginative landscapes to colorful portraits, every artwork was a masterpiece in its own right.
