As temperatures drop, the need for warmth becomes a basic necessity many people cannot afford. For families living on the streets and for cancer affected children in hospitals, even a single blanket can bring comfort, protection and dignity.

Through our October blanket drive, Pephands Foundation continued its mission to donate blankets for cancer affected children and extend warmth to the homeless. Supported by compassionate individuals and recognized among India’s trustable NGOs and the best NGO in Chennai, this initiative brought hope to those facing cold nights with no protection.

Blankets That Turned Cold Nights Into Moments of Relief

In October, more than 225+ blankets were distributed across vulnerable communities. These blankets were given to homeless individuals living on streets, pavements, bus stands and also to cancer affected children staying in hospital wards.

Compassionate Hearts Who Made Warmth Possible

With the support of 35+ generous donors, warmth reached individuals who had been silently suffering through harsh weather. Many supporters stepped forward to donate for poor people, ensuring no one was left without basic protection.

Over time, this initiative has distributed more than 4,275+ blankets, bringing comfort to those sleeping without shelter or facing medical distress.

More than 4,275+ moments of warmth have been shared through this program. These blankets protected abandoned elders, struggling families and countless cancer affected children who needed support during hospital stays.

A Strong Network of Trusted Donors Supporting This Cause

With the support of 665+ trusted donors, the blanket program continues to expand and help more individuals in distress. Their generosity strengthened the mission of blanket donation to homeless communities and families in need.

Volunteers Who Carried Warmth Into Every Corner

More than 1,044+ volunteers contributed by identifying needful locations, distributing blankets and ensuring each blanket reached a person who truly needed it. Their commitment played a vital role in protecting vulnerable communities during harsh weather.

Warmth Shared With Children Battling Cancer

Blankets were also distributed to cancer affected children receiving treatment at the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children, Egmore, Chennai. These young fighters spend long nights in cold wards where the chill often adds to their discomfort.

The warm blankets brought comfort, reduced the cold, and supported their overall emotional well-being during treatment. Parents expressed heartfelt gratitude as their children felt safe, warm and protected during some of the most challenging moments of their medical journey.
