The Genesis of IAM – project validation event

It all started with a student survey conducted by Pephands, aimed at understanding the challenges students face that impact their career and success. The results revealed a significant number of students longing for a trusted and friendly platform to prove their innovative ideas through idea validation events. That’s when the Pephands team landed into action, working on a theory that led to the creation of an event called IAM – a Govt recognized project validation event designed exclusively to be accessible, participative, and supportive for students.

(IAM) Ideas Are Made, is a government recognized and G.O. passed event sanctioned by the Department of Higher Education. This recognition opens the doors for students from all universities to participate, advancing their careers through innovative ideas through our idea validation competition.

IAM in Action

IAM is a revolutionary event, meticulously crafted to extract innovation from every student in three key categories: Education, Medical, and Community. The event boasts an easy user interface that simplifies communication and participation, supported by Pephands’ dedicated tutors. The IAM Idea Validation program is a journey comprising three rounds of project valuation, facilitated through both online and offline channels analyzed by our top judges of Lectures & Professionals. This IAM program is supported by a user-friendly interface ensuring that students are able to present their project without any hindrances.

Stages of IAM

1. Project Submission:

The call for project submissions garnered an overwhelming response for our Idea / Project validation event, with 1000+ actively volunteered projects in the Education, Medical, and Community categories.

2. Round 1 – Shortlisting Top 100:

After meticulous evaluation, the top 100 projects qualifying for innovation and advancement were shortlisted through an online channel. Students were duly informed about the qualifying criteria and timeline through all Pephands social media platform

3. Round 2 – Top 50 Projects:

The competition intensified as the top 50 projects, demonstrating esteemed value for life, were shortlisted based on online paper presentations.

4. Round 3 – The Grand Finale:

Now, we invite the top 50 participants to present their project ideas in person, showcasing both the technical and non-technical advantages for human life and biome.

Recognition and Awards

In the final round, the top three projects will be honored with the prestigious IAM Innovator Star Award, while an additional seven projects will receive runner certificates. IAM is not just an event; it’s a testament to Pephands’ commitment to societal welfare. It stands as a part of various programs initiated annually, contributing to talent acquisition and societal well-being.
