Chennai’s First-Ever Wag & Walk Dogs Walkathon in 2025

Wag & Walk 2025 is more than just a pet event, it’s a movement for change. Hosted by the Pephands Foundation, this first-of-its-kind dog walkathon in Chennai is dedicated to addressing a growing yet overlooked concern: the welfare of stray dogs.

Across the city, thousands of stray dogs live without access to food, shelter, or veterinary care. They roam in extreme weather, suffer injuries without aid, and often go unseen. Wag & Walk 2025 aims to bring these lives into focus, encouraging empathy, adoption, and community-led solutions.
