To smile and make others smile, every action must have a purpose. To ensure this, Pephands successfully hosted the talent show, **OPEN MIC EVENT 2023**, bringing out the talent of all our hidden artists.

Talent Showcase
The event featured individuals who:

• Have been music maestros in front of washroom mirrors.
• Have silently vibed to their favorite songs in their bedrooms.
• Are good speakers in front of parents and friends.
• Are good imitators in classrooms for their favorite teachers.

These talents are often hidden within four walls, visible only to close friends. Many possess unique talents in various art forms but lack a platform that does not criticize, mock, or laugh at them if things go wrong.

Purpose of OPEN MIC
In today's world, the notion is that only highly skilled people can win. **OPEN MIC** aims to change this thought by creating an entertainment platform where everyone gets an equal opportunity to showcase their talent in art forms such as singing, dancing, mimicry, and standup comedy, without any judgments or partiality. Here, all participants are winners, born with a talent to serve a purpose.

Digital Exposure
Face marketing and social media are trending, with platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, etc. Our **OPEN MIC 2023** event serves as a genuine platform to showcase your talent to the world.

Fun for a Cause
**OPEN MIC 2023** focused on **FUN FOR A CAUSE**. Our talented artists served their purpose through fun.

 Support for Mr. Rajasekar
Pephands conducted the talent show to support Mr. Rajasekar, who is permanently affected by Myotonic Dystrophy and cannot move without help. His determination for his two kids inspired us to do something meaningful for his daily movement. Pephands connected with artists seeking a genuine stage while serving a meaningful change for others.

Fundraising Success
We successfully fundraised for Mr. Rajasekar, providing necessary medical equipment like a wheelchair, hospital bed, personal medical care accessories, and provisions for his family.
